- Our qualified Mot Testers can MOT Cars, 4×4′s and Vans up to Class 4, Motor homes etc. If you would like to book an MOT then give us a call or contact us via the contact us page. Our MOT Test costs £54.85 with a FREE retest within 10 working days.
- How To Book: Call our office on 01241 856666 to book your MOT appointment. You can book your appointment up to 30 days before your MOT is due. We will ask you for your name, contact number, vehicle make and registration before confirming a date and time.
- Our usual lead time for booking an appointment is a week. We would prefer if you could contact us about a week prior to your MOT expiry date or desired appointment date to ensure that we will have space for your vehicle. However same or next day appointments can be arranged where urgent.

- FREE Reminder Service: We operate a free reminder text service which we tend to on a daily basis to ensure that your vehicle MOT does not expire. This will be automatically added to your account once your vehicle has been registered in our system after having an MOT completed by us. You can choose to opt out of this by asking us to remove you from our reminder list. You can be added to our reminder list whether your vehicle has been MOT’d at Carnoustie Tyres or not. - What If My Vehicle Fails? Please note that it is illegal to drive your vehicle without an MOT outside your appointment. If your vehicle fails its MOT we will contact you to discuss this, we will offer you a quote on the repairs needed and you can let us know whether you would like us to carry out the repairs or not. If you choose not to have the repairs carried out at Carnoustie Tyres, you can collect your car with a view to return it for a free retest within 10 working days. Any date after this period you will be expected to pay for another full MOT test.
